Development of the website for the Panhellenic Women’s Sports Association KALLIPATEIRA.
The Panhellenic Women’s Sports Association KALLIPATEIRA honored us by entrusting us with the reconstruction of their website, in order to make it not only a modern, responsive website but also a fast one. With the design, we aimed to highlight the purpose of the association and its members and to give it a new identity while respecting its history. The previous website was built on WordPress, so transferring the articles and pages was a relatively straightforward task for the Webmate team.
Responsive website, Speed, and Filters
The optimal speed of the website was the first thing requested by the association, and of course, we had to ensure the optimal loading speed of the website. Despite the beautiful and simultaneously complex design, we emphasized the responsive aspect of the website, making sure it performs optimally on any device used by the user. Finally, something crucial for the correct content categorization, as requested by us, was the creation of filters within the categories based on date. For the best user experience during searching, we decided to create these filters with asynchronous content loading using the WordPress API.
